· Death for the cause is our goal, not success.

· Let us work without desire for name or fame or rule over the others. Let us be free from the triple bonds of lust, greed of gain, and anger.

· Are you unselfish? That is the question. If you are, you will be perfect without reading a single religious book, without going into a single church or temple.

· You work best when you work for others.

· Every man has in him the potentiality of attaining to perfect saintliness.

· Man is the highest being in creation, because he attains to freedom.

· All the heavens and the world are in the person.

· There is a pleasure in suffering even, when it is for others.

· Our prophet-soul is the proof of their prophet-soul.

· What you have inside you is that you see in others.

· Refer UNSELFISHNESS; LOVE LOVE LOVE; THINKING; LOVE;

· Do things for others; Expand!

· As you do good to yourself, so you must do good to others.

· Set yourselves wholly to the service of others.

· Each must verify for himself.

· ………………..let everyone be taught that the divine is within, and everyone will work out his own salvation.

· All men are pure; all men are good.

· The true man is he who is strong as strength itself and yet possesses a woman’s heart.

· The calm man is not the man who is dull.

· No body is ugly, no body is impure.

· Man cannot be satisfied by wealth.

· We are the servants of that God who by the ignorant is called MAN. He who pours water at the root, does he not water the whole tree?

· Set yourselves wholly to the service of others.

· Know that all sins and all evils can be summed up in that one word----------weakness. It is weakness that is the motive power in all evil-doing. It is weakness that is the source of all selfishness. It is weakness that makes men injure others. It is weakness that makes them manifest what they are not in reality.

· Every step I take in light is mine forever.

· It is our own mental attitude which makes the world what it is for us. Our thought make things beautiful, our thoughts make things ugly. The whole world is in our own minds. Learn to see things in the proper light. First, believe in this world --------------- that there is meaning behind everything. Everything in the world is good, is holy and beautiful. If you see something evil, think that you are not understanding it in the right light. Throw the burden on yourselves!

· Seeing difference is the cause of all misery, and ignorance is the cause of seeing difference.

· Three things are necessary to make every man great, every nation great:

(i) Conviction of the powers of goodness.

(ii) Absence of jealousy and suspicion.

(iii) Helping all who are trying to be good and do good.

· Please everyone without becoming a hypocrite or a coward.

· The essential thing in religion is making the heart pure; the Kingdom of Heaven is within us, but only the pure in heart can see the King. While we think of the world, it is only the world for us; but let us come to it with the feeling that the world is God, and we shall have God.

· The power of purity—it is a definite power.

· They alone live whose lives are in the whole universe. The more we concentrate our lives in limited things, the faster we go towards death. Those moments alone we live when our lives are in the universe, in others; and living this little life is death, simply death, and that is why the fear of death comes.

· The power is with the silent ones; who only live and love and then withdraw their personality. They never say ‘me’ and ‘mine’; they are only blessed in being instruments. Such men are the makers of Christs and Buddhas, ever living, fully identified with God. Ideal existences asking nothing and not consciously doing anything. They are the real mover, the Jivan-muktas, absolutely selfless, the little personality entirely blown away, ambition non-existent. They are all principles, no personality.

· If your freedom hurts others, you are not free there; you must not hurt others.

· I believe in God and I believe in man. I believe in helping the miserable, I believe in going even to hell to serve others.

· This world for me, not I for the world. Good and evil are our slaves, not we theirs. It is the nature of the brute to remain where he is (not to progress); it is the nature of man to seek good and avoid bad; it is the nature of God to seek neither, but just to be eternally blissful. Let us be gods! Make the heart like an ocean; go beyond all the trifles of the world; be mad with joy even at evil, see the world as a picture and then enjoy its beauty, knowing that nothing affects you. Children finding glass beads in a mud puddle, that is the good of the world. Look at it with calm complacency; see good and evil as the same, both are merely ‘God’s play’; enjoy all.

· Practise truthfulness. Twelve years of absolute truthfulness in thought, word, and deed gives a man what he wills.

· Be true unto death.

· Obey the Scriptures until you are strong enough to do without them.

· Man learns as he lives, and experience is the greatest teacher in the world.
